Promea
Since 1991 Promea has been supporting research and innovation in order to increase companies’ competitiveness and strengthen Sardinian economic and occupational system.
Promea introduces itself as high consultant along the whole chain of innovation, through promotion of research, valorisation of its outcomes at the industrial level, support to new entrepreneurial initiatives.
In 2001 Promea took the form of co-operative company whose partners are:
- University of Cagliari;
- BIC Sardegna S.p.A., the inter-agency promoted by EU and Regione Sardegna for the creation, modernization and diversification of innovative SMEs;
- SFIRS S.p.A., regional investment company which promotes and supports business ideas especially the industrial ones;
- INCA Consortium, Interuniversity Consortium Chemistry for the Environment;
- C.N.R. – INFM, the National Research Council and the National Institute for the Physics of the Matter;
- INSTM, National Interuniversity Consortium for Materials Science and Technology;
- BAN Sardegna, the Association of Business Angels of Sardegna.
