BAN Sardegna, in collaboration with Promea, presents the Program “Nuove Imprese per BAN Sardegna”.

The Program addresses every people, in accademic, research or entrepreneurial context, with no age and residence constraints, with a potential innovative business idea.

The Program doesn’t have money rewards, but it aims at facilitating recipients to meet the Business Angels Network and benefit from consulting services and support on filling financial requirements needed to translate an innovative idea to business.

The Business Angel

The Business Angel (BA) is someone who invests in one or more start-ups or companies with a strong growth potential bringing equity (and so beginning a financial partner) together with competences, experience on business management and personal network.

In Italy Business Angels invest on average between € 25.000 and € 500.000 for every business, but the global investment is even higher if more BAs enter the company.

Business Angels invest on many sectors, on companies that assure high financial return besides the opportunity to live an exciting entrepreneurial adventure.

Purposes and object of the Program

Purposes of the Program are:

• scout and promote new business idea;
• support development of innovative companies;

• facilitate meeting between entrepreneurs or potential entrepreneurs and Business Angels.

Any partecipants could persoanlly meet the Program’consultants coordinated by Promea who will propose the first evaluation about the business idea. Beneficiaries will be provide with assistance services to foster technical and economic potentials of their ideas.

At the end of the process the most bright ideas will be presented to the Association of Business Angels who will consider the possibilities and the conditions to make the business.

The Association BAN Sardegna is a permanet organization aimed at promoting the role of informal investors in order to help matching between demand and supply of capital and know how. BAN Sardegna doesn’t bring equity capital, but supports birth and development of companies with a potential competitive advantage.

Promea supports research and innovation in order to increase companies’ competitiveness and strengthen Sardinian economic and occupational system. Promea introduces itself as consultant along the whole chain of innovation, through promotion of research, valorisation of its outcomes at the industrial level, support to new entrepreneurial initiatives.
